Cheerag Shirodaria is a Cardiologist and Honorary Adviser to the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in the United Kingdom. He is also co-founder and CEO of Caristo Diagnostics , a University of Oxford spinout company . Cheerag and team developed the Fat Attenuation Index (FAI ) , a non-invasive method to measure alterations that lead to atherosclerosis from the analysis of coronary CT angiography. In an interview with Medscape , Dr. Cheerag shared more details about the FAI.
